Welcome to the Cares Committee! We meet as needed, usually once a month at the clubhouse. First and foremost we want to remember our families who have lost a loved one, have illness or who have joy with a new birth in the family. Sarah Osgood has graciously agreed to coordinate our Bereavement Committee. Please contact her or any of our members with any information that will help us in this endeavor. We also want to welcome new residents to the community and have joined forces with Melanie Thompson, Membership Director of Deerwood Country Club to make this a success. Our final function is the "Light up Deerwood" for the Holidays each year, a huge undertaking and to enhance the "Luminary Night". There is so much we can do to not only make Deerwood the premiere community of Jacksonville, but a community who supports its residents in time of need. We value your suggestions and hope you will join us at our next posted meeting.
